Chandra is part of the Inner World collection, inspired by Scott's 50-year art and meditation practice, and his deep curiosity about celestial bodies and their historical and spiritual significance across cultures.
The moon may be the single most universally significant object in human spiritual history. Every culture, without exception, has looked up at it, named it, told stories about it, organized their time by it, and poured their deepest understanding of cycles, death, rebirth, the feminine, and the tidal pull of the unconscious into it.

The Collection
The Inner World collection comes directly from Scott's 10,000 Years project — a series of photographic works that deconstruct the traditional elements of analog photography, using the rays of the sun to etch and burn directly onto an array of modern and vintage silver gelatin photographic papers.
The title refers to the age of the photons birthed by the sun that daily bombard the objects and surfaces around us as light. The artist deftly manipulates light and chemistry, returning photography to its etymological root as "light drawing," foregrounding the photographic process as a metaphor for vision and transformation.
